ScreenPrinting
This is a Great Option for Single Color Logos or Larger Orders!
What's the Deal with Screenprinting?
Screenprinting is a super cool, old school T-Shirt printing method that involves pushing ink through a mesh or screen stencil onto your garments.
Each color in the design requires a separate screen, meaning multiple screens are needed for multi-colored logos, each color being manually layered on top of the other. The ink is a bit thicker than DTG printing, with a bit more texture and holds up to the test of time.
The screen printing setup is a bit of a time-consuming process though. Separate screens need to be prepared for each color in your logo, using transparency film, emulsions and UV exposure. Once the screens are “burned” the stencil is washed away, revealing just the logo within the screen, which the ink will pass through. This process is repeated for each color in the design. Then it’s time to register each screen on the screen printing press, so the logo colors line up just right. This process takes a bit of time (and patience), but it’s so worth it when it comes to the quality and washability.
After all the screens are lined up and loaded with ink, the rest of the screenprinting process is fast and efficient, making bulk orders more cost-effective. Smaller runs tend to be a bit costly, simply because of the time needed to set it all up, but one or two color jobs can still be cost effective for small runs too. If you’re not sure that screenprinting is a good fit for your order, simply shoot us an email with your design and we’ll offer advice on the best garment printing method for your design.

This t-shirt printing technique is recommended for somewhat simpler designs and large-ish quantities. For smaller orders and more intricate designs, DTG would probably be the more logical choice.
Frequently Asked Questions
Still have more questions? Shoot us an email and we'll do our best to assist!
Is there a minimum quantity for screenprinting?
Yes, due to the large amount of time that goes into the initial setup, the minimum quantity for this technique is 15 garmens.
Is there a limit on the number of colors we can print?
Typically, we would keep it to 6 or fewer colors, although we do offer alternative screenprinting techniques for more complex color palettes.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Turnaround times for screenprinted orders are generally between 7 – 10 business days, but can take a bit longer during peak printing season.
I have a tight deadline, can you accommodate?
We’ll do our best! If you have a target deadline that you need your order finished by, please let us know and we’ll make it happen!
Can I send in my own design?
Absolutely! We prefer vector artwork for client submitted graphics, but can sometimes work with other formats too.
Can you create a new design for me?
You bet! We’d be more than happy to draw up something super cool for your next batch of garments!
Can I mix and match shirts and hoodies with the same print?
For sure! As long as the design doesn’t change, we can print on a variety of garments so you can mix and match to keep your overall quantity a bit higher.
Can I have different color garments in the same order?
Yes. And No. You’re more than welcome to mix and match garment colors, but be mindful of the colors used in your design. If there’s lots of white ink in the design, then choosing white garments isn’t a great idea.
Can I change ink colors for part of my order?
Yes, we sure can. We can certainly swap out one ink color for another, provided it works with your design. There is an additional charge for ink color changes though, so be sure to let us know in advance and we’ll add that into your quote!
