Custom Embroidery
This is a Great Option for Hats, Knits, Vests & Jackets!
Embroidery Adds Elegance and Quality
If you want your apparel to look and feel premium, embroidered designs are the great choice. With the raised texture and various patterns, it creates a handcrafted, sophisticated appearance that will take your branded garments to the next level.
Embroidery works well on a wide variety of fabrics, including thicker fleece, lined nylon outerwear, denim and knits.
As embroidery involves making tiny needle holes, (often thousands of them at a time), this is a no-go for waterproof clothing such as raincoats or diving suits. However, it’s a great fit for caps, scarves, toques, jackets, vests and polo shirts.
Fabric compatibility
Garments like hats, toques, vests and jackets are all great candidates for custom embroidery, but stay away from thin or sheer fabrics. Due to the extra weight that the thousands of stitched threads provide, thin fabrics will curl up at the edges.
Pros
- High-quality, long-lasting designs
- Compatible with many different fabrics
- Fast and affordable for large quantities of the same design
Cons
- Not ideal for super detailed designs
- Not recommended for thin or sheer fabric
- Limited number of colors
- Each design (or different size of the same design) needs to be digitized for machine compatibility.
If you're looking for a premium, professional appearance combined with the charm of handicraft, embroidery might be the right fit for you.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a minimum quantity for embroidery?
Nope, there is no minimum quantity, but higher quantities have better price breaks.
What is "digitizing"?
We need to digitize your logo to set it up for the machine. Basically, we have to trace the design to tell the machine where to stop and start each stitch. In many cases, there are thousands of stitches to trace. As you can imagine, this will take a bit of time, so we do need to charge a nominal fee for this process.
Do you have to digitize my design if I reorder in the future?
Nope, once we’ve digitized your logo or design, we have it forever and as long as it doesn’t change in size or shape, then you won’t need to pay this fee again.
I have a deadline! How is your turnaround time?
We do have rush service if you need your custom embroidered garments fast. We want to try our best to make sure your stuff get to you on time, and our rush service almost guarantees it. Please do let us know about your deadlines as soon as possible and we promise to do our very best to meet them!
Can you design an embroidered logo for me?
You bet! We’d be more than happy to draw up something super cool for your next batch of hats or jackets!
